I could live a thousand lives in a thousand different homes and still never have enough time to explore the different design styles I’m drawn to. Sometimes I daydream about being the Madonna of apartments, redecorating every few years and reinventing my space in a totally different style. I’d have my Hollywood glam era, and my minimalist Scandinavian era, and my mid-century modern era, and my rustic cabin era… You see what I mean? I could go on forever.

As fun as it sounds to redecorate constantly, it also sounds expensive. And exhausting. Instead, there’s a better and easier way to indulge all your different tastes at once: Just mix them.

These 10 real homes do the style-blending thing beautifully (hint: it’s all about a cohesive color scheme). Click through to see more of each space and tap into some of the magic that happens when you decorate exactly how you like.
