The salad was made from our own container box of mesclun - arugula, endive, Bibb lettuce, and other slightly bitter greens. We added chives, our own French breakfast radishes, and a lump of goat cheese from Lake Erie Creamery.
The Sherry was interesting - no fruitiness at all. It had a slight taste of green olives, and it was warm, rich, and yet light in the glass. It was totally different. But it stood up to the strong flavors in the salad and created a new taste in our mouths. We became quite fond of this Sherry!
