The back porch used to have regular balusters and I wanted some privacy so I could leave the drapes open. House number matrix: There's a Spanish tradition of second floor porches that are enclosed in a wood screen so you can see out but not in. I've also always liked LED graphics and dot matrix printing. I laid out the numbers in AutoCAD and overlaid a grid of dots. Then I printed full scale and marked each drill hole with a pencil, and finally drilled the holes.
